Note for using NEOQUENCH-DR
1.Thermal expansion considerations
NEOQUENCH-DR has lower CTE (coefficient of thermal expansion) than most metallic materials.

Proper clearance between the magnet and shaft is advised.
2.Mechanical Strength
NEOQUENCH-DR can eliminate the banding depending on the magnet OD, wall thickness, and rpm.

3.Other
- These magnets are fragile and easy to break. Please protect your eyes from debris. These magnets are extremely strong. Please take extreme caution to avoid benig pinched.
- If magnets are damaged, it will lead to lower performance and deterioration. In case of high rpm motor, even its magnet got broken, please design for the rotor not to scutter splinter.
- Please notice that even unmagnetized magnet sometimes absorbs tiny magnetic substance. When you mount a magnet, please use asembled parts after washing it.
- Approaching strong magnet might destroy records of magnetic media. Please do not bring magnet close to magnetic card, magnetic tape, prepaid card, and so on.
- Getting magnet close to electronic devices, scale meter board, control board might get out of order and broken or accident. Please keep magets away from it.
- It is very dangerous to bring magnet close to the person who wear an electronic medical device such as a pacemaker. Please keep magnets away from the person, or medical device might get affected and doesn't work properly.
- Please don't use or keep in the environments such as high humidity and high temperature. The magnets might get rust or deterioration of performance and mechnical strength. Rust proof depends upon the surface coating, please consult us beforehand.
- Corrosive gas atmosphere(Cl, NH3, SOx, NOx …)
- High electro-conductivity ( Electrolyte water …)
- Hydrogen gas atmosphere ( H2, …)
- Acid, Alkali, Organic solvent
- Water, Oil, …
- Ni-plating would be needed to protect surface on the magnet from rust up to the working environment. Nd-Fe-B magnet needs to be coated or special treatment in many cases. Please select appropriate surface treatment to cope with the working environment.
- The rare earth alloy magnetic powder is classified as dangerous materials (flammable solid) in the Japanese Fire Services Act. Please do not use when there is possibilities of generating magnetic powder dust, because the finer dust is easy to catch fire.
- Dust caused by friction while magnet using or machinning, is easy to get fire. So please not to use the magnet where it generate magnetic dust in the air.
- Please don't swallow magnet by mistake.If you swallow it by any chance, please consult with the doctor immediately.
- Please keep the magnet away from the place children can reach.
- Please keep the magnet away from especially the person who has metalic alergy, since touching magnet might cause skin trouble or swells in red. If you get symptom like this, please don't touth magnets.
